Announcing Our 1st Annual Melanoma Awareness Event
We are so excited to announce that for the first time ever we will be hosting a Melanoma Awareness Event for the local community, where we’ll be offering free skin cancer screenings to the public! Join our dermatologists for this free public awareness event, which includes a seminar about Melanoma with our very own Dr. Panos Vasiloudes, a local dermatology legend who has dedicated his 30 year career to the study and treatment of malignant melanoma and the pursuit for a cure.
We wanted this to be an event everyone could enjoy, from the tiniest of tots to their grandparents! Because of that, this is a child friendly event with lots of fun activities for the whole family including entertainment, giveaways, face painting, popcorn, corn hole, and more! There will be a variety of food trucks on site, and most importantly a chance for parents and non-parents to receive a free skin cancer screening.
We could not be more excited for this event, which has been a dream of Dr. V’s for quite some time now. As many of you know, for over 30 years Dr. V has made it his mission to combat malignant melanoma, doing everything possible to raise awareness about the condition and devoting his life’s work to the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma. He has surgically removed tens of thousands of melanoma spots, treated countless patients, dedicated hundreds of hours to scientific research on the condition, and spent his personal time compiling a comprehensive gallery of melanoma photos for clinical observation and education. This event is his way of giving back to the community and trying to raise awareness about a cause that is near and dear to his heart!
This is a new event for us, and we could not be more excited to see Dr. V’s dreams of educating the local community on the dangers of melanoma and the importance of early detection come to fruition.
